This calculator finds the geometric volume of a rectangular concrete element such as a slab or footing from its length, width, and thickness. The result is in cubic metres when every dimension is entered in metres.

Concrete volume = length × width × thickness or depth.
Convert centimetres to metres before multiplying. For example, 15 cm = 0.15 m.
A slab 6 m long, 4 m wide, and 0.15 m thick has a theoretical volume of 6 × 4 × 0.15 = 3.6 m³.
The calculator returns geometric volume only. Any contingency depends on the project and should be confirmed with the contractor or supplier.
